Worldata Research has put together a current statistic on the average click-throughs on a B2B technology-oriented, third-party email offer. The fourth most clicked link by technology decision-makers was to “View on Handheld.” With an average of 11% of all click-throughs, this statistic shows that many corporate technology professionals work and respond to email from a handheld device. Most email offers targeting technology decision-makers should be easily formatted by a PDA or include a clear link to default the formatting to be viewed properly on a PDA. The highest-clicked link by technology professionals was at 34% to the actual product or service being offered. Only 1% on average of total click-throughs from an email was to opt-out and 4% to contact the company sending the email offer.
